The impressive limestone quarters of the Onondaga County Savings Bank were built in 1867. Horatio Nelson White designed this historic building that was later known as Gridley Building. It was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

Beth Shayim is a synagogue located in Syracuse which also goes by the name of New Beth Israel. There are men's and women's bible study group available for members who wish to learn more about Jewish culture and Hebrew traditions. During Shabbat services, the rabbi of the synagogue conducts classes on the Tallit and Tsitsit, the Jewish prayer shaw. The videos of these teachings are also available for public on the Youtube page of the rabbi. The synagogue hosts elaborate parties and concerts during major Jewish festivals like Chanukhah and Passover.
