Holy Family Cathedral

Once considered Tulsa's tallest building, the Holy Family Cathedral is a recognizable landmark in downtown Tulsa. The church's three spires can still be seen at a distance today, one of the first sights spotted by the first-time tourist. Inspired by European Gothic churches, the architecture is an amalgamation of English, German and French styles. Especially worth noting are the 59 stained glass windows designed and constructed by the Royal Bavarian Art Institute. Depicting major events from the life of Christ, these stunning windows are works of art.

First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa

At the corner of 7th and Boston in downtown Tulsa sits First Presbyterian Church, widely known as the first church in town. Chartered in 1885 by a Presbyterian missionary and 15 Creek Indians, the church has occupied various buildings on this site since 1911. The structure housing the current sanctuary was built in 1925 and is reminiscent of 16th-century Gothic architecture. However, the church actually occupies a number of buildings on this corner. Call the church office for information on touring the facility. You visit this place on Sunday at 8am, 9.30am and 11am.

Memorial Park Cemetery

A serene space in Tulsa, the Memorial Park Cemetery is the largest memorial ground in the six state region, making it one of the largest in the country. Built in 1927, the grounds offer an array of services and feature the historic Chapel of Saints Valley along with a Memorial Park Family Center.
