Forest Park Cemetery

The history of Forest Park Cemetery can be traced back to the early 19th century. This cemetery is a burial place for the 9 mayors of the city and features a life sized bronze statue of the brave World War II soldier Lt. R.E. Smitherman and many other such memorials.
