Grand Circus Park

Inside the historic district of the same name, Grand Circus Park is a downtown greenbelt that attaches the theater and financial districts. In earlier times, the park was larger, but city encroachment and development ate away at its borders. Nonetheless, it's still a large strip of preserved greenery that contains features like the Thomas Edison Memorial Fountain, a couple of statues that pay homage to Detroit benefactors and some architectural highlights along the way. For locals who work in the area, it's simply a nice spot to have lunch.
