Miller Park
The Miller Park is a 30 acre (12.14 hectare) park located in the city of Temple. It has a long jog trail with around ten fitness stations. Come along with your family to enjoy at the picnic pavilions with BBQ grills or sit by the pond and watch your kids play in the splash pad!
The Mother Neff State Park spreads across 259 acres (105 hectares) of land. Situated on the banks of the River Leon, the serene waters adds to the beauty of the park. It is a popular spot for several recreational activities such as river rafting, fishing, camping, hiking and picnicking. A guided tour is offered to get visitors more acquainted with the historic site.
Spread across 20 acres (8.09371 hectares) of land, Hillsboro City Park is a great family outing spot. Let your kids enjoy on the swings and slides as you relax amidst the lush green scenery of the park. This park also features trails for walking and jogging and has a special tracks for skateboarding. In addition to this, Hillsboro City Park houses a small stage at the center which encourages local artists to perform and gives them a platform for showcasing their talent.
