Riverwalk
The Milwaukee Riverwalk is a pedestrian path that runs alongside the Milwaukee River. This path is ideal for walking, biking or jogging and it offers great views of the river, especially at sunset. If you're looking to take a river cruise, there are several companies available, and if you're looking for a bite to eat, it won't be long until your come across a restaurant right along the river.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Iron Block Building is the only one of its kind in the city thanks to its iron cast facade. Built in 1861, the iron cast facade was actually shipped all the way from New York. This historic building is hard to miss thanks to its central location in Milwaukee's Juneautown area. The Iron Block Building is also located near the Mitchell Building, another historic Milwaukee site.
