The Slide Inn

The Slide Inn offers a wide variety of American dishes with an international twist. With a bias towards German influence, the restaurant has a variety of German beers on tap as well as others in bottles. All-American dishes like burgers are served side by side with exotic Hungarian goulash and apple strudel. Brunch is also served here during the weekends. The Kaiserschmarrn, which is a type of oven-baked pancake comes highly recommended among the breakfast dishes. Regular comedy nights, live music shows and great happy hours also attracts a lot of the crowd from the surrounding area.

Fishwife Seafood Restaurant

Our guests always ask "How did you guys come up with that name?" and "what is a Fishwife?" It all started when my Grandfather said "if I ever have a restaurant I will call it the Fishwife. He passed on and a few years later my parents decided to put their talents to work by starting a seafood restaurant. In tribute, the name Fishwife immediately came to mind. Now what exactly is a fishwife? Originally used in Great Britain, fishwives were just that - the wife of a fisherman who sold her husband's catch on the streets. They were known as tough, hardworking women.

Coquine

Coquine in Portland is renowned for its vibrant seasonal menu that includes classic American favorites. Managed by chef Katy Millard, the restaurant also doubles up as a bakery where you can give an order of cookies for taking out. Thanks to the aforementioned delights, Portland Monthly named the cookies served here as the "Cookie of the Year".

Clarklewis

Chef Bruce Carey and Chef Dolan Lane are two names associated with top-tier restaurants of the Northwest and the duo is now the driving force behind Clarklewis. This New American restaurant joins the trailblazers of the farm-to table movement, and presents Portlanders with a locally-inspired menu that borrows international flavors - mainly French and Italian. Most of the value is on the plate as the restaurant is housed inside a re-purposed warehouse with aesthetically pleasing yet rustic decor. Service adheres to a high standard and the menu changes daily, with a standard hand-picked wine list. A separate space is reserved for private dining which caters for up to 20 guests with customized menus. Reservations can be made online.
