Cafe M
We serve brunch and breakfast all day, 7 days a week. We use only the freshest ingredients and our food is made to order. We are located in Berkeley's wonderful 4th street neighborhood, with it's excellent stores and boutiques.
When in the East Bay, it's lunch at 900 Grayson Restaurant. Partake of California cuisine at its best—stone soup, chunky burgers, exotic drinks and American fusion cuisine to keep you well occupied. Expect curious names on the menu, such as “Demon Lover” (spicy fried chicken, buttermilk waffle and cream gravy), and “Accessories” (a delicious vegetarian hotch-potch), which when explored, reveal tantalizing flavors. A limited, but decent beverage list makes for good pairing with any meal. While a dinner option is yet to come to the fore, the traditional breakfast can be summed up in one word—mmmmm!
La Note
Dine in stylish French luxury at La Note. Start the day with a full breakfast of pancakes, toast and omelets while sitting on the patio outside and taking in the first rays of the sun. The restaurant is classy and elegant, providing exquisite dishes that woo the diner and vie for their attention. Try the various French delicacies like the bouillabaisse marseillaise and the ratatouille borghetti. The menu is written in French, though the wait staff can help the uninitiated. La Note is the place to go if one is in the mood for perfection.
