Red Gate’s signature creations include Salted Caramel Brownies (chocolate brownies with a thick ribbon of caramel), Brown Butter Blondies (extra buttery, toasted pecan-riddled blondies), Cannibal Cookies (caramelized sugar cookies packed with house-made oreos) White Chocolate Grapefruit Cookies (studded with zesty grapefruit and white chocolate chunks), and Midnight Banana Bread (black cocoa and bittersweet chocolate in warm banana bread), among others. Born in Porto Empedocle Sicily, Antonio Fiorentino started making pastries at the age of twelve. He has continued to learn and craft his passion for creating delicious pastries for over 40 years. Antonio moved to the United States in 1977. He opened F. Monteleone Bakery & Cafe in January 2011. He enjoys creating and serving homemade goodies, fresh daily with the help of his wife Maria Teresa, his daughter Rosemarie and his two sons Salvatore and Giuseppe.
