Wara Wara
Originally opened in 2016, Wara Wara, meaning "laugh laugh" in Japanese, is an izakaya-style pub that serves a variety of Japanese tapas, cold sake, and specialty ramen. We want everyone to have a good time when they eat here, so we've created an atmosphere that's comfortable and relaxing to spend time in while you enjoy some food and drink with friends. Although laid-back in ambience, we're a little livelier than your average Japanese restaurant, and we welcome you to come experience the energy of a true izakaya next time you're in the neighborhood!
Cafe Nuovo presents a contemporary fusion of American, Italian and French favorites under a strict ethos to never mask ingredients with too much cream, butter or sauce, where the items should speak for themselves. A couple of the innovative plates include steak tartare and the duck breast in a peach compote. It's located on the ground floor of the Citizens Bank Building and during great weather, the outdoor piazza offers excellent views of Providence River while you enjoy your drinks or meal.

Al Forno has is a nice little nondescript gem in the Fox Point neighborhood. It's hidden in a warehouse type structure along South Main Street and the ambiance is quiet and casually romantic. The owners have published a couple of cookbooks and they present all the regions of Italy on diners' plates, from Reggio-Calabria to Campania. Their wood-grilled pizza and clam appetizers are very popular as well as their fresh fish and pasta dinners. An impressive selection of 250 wines completes the menu and the service is impeccable.
