At Long Bridge Pizza Co. we are a hybrid mix of New York, Italian, and San Francisco Bay area influence. We take the best aspects of ingredients and quality from these areas and make damn tasty pizzas. Locals serving locals is what you will find at Long Bridge Pizza Co. We serve up fresh thin crust pies, paired with a simple, but carefully chosen selection of beers on tap. Enjoy delicious pizza with your friends here, then explore the Dogpatch neighborhood which features a collection of local treasures. The name Long Bridge is taken from the old wooden causeway that connected the Dogpatch to downtown. We are as committed to the community as we are to our food quality and customer service. We know where all of our ingredients come from and even grow our own produce. Pizza doesn't get fresher than Long Bridge Pizza Co.
Inspired by chef and owner Sharon Ardiana's unique Italian family, Gialina sets itself apart by serving delicious, home-style Italian meals that come from the Emilia-Romagna area. Chef Adriana makes use of the freshest ingredients in her ever-changing menu, one that she feels reflects the kinds of food that she grew up on. The menu is simple, but the choices are exquisite. Options available include daily roast specials and hot pizza pies such as a three cheese Margherita or Puttanesca, which is topped with anchovies, capers, chilies, and herbs. And don't forget to check out their delectable dessert menu (but not until after your dinner!) The wine list is good, the service is excellent, and the food is unbeatable.
Za Pizza
In case you weren't aware, 'za' is short for 'pizza' and pizza is exactly what this place does best. Located on Hyde Street in Russian Hill, Za's patrons can feast on thin and crispy slices while watching the bustle of neighborhood dog walkers and listening to the thump and chime of San Francisco's famed Cable Cars. The pies here are strictly New York style and regulars will attest that Za does it right. Three tables and a handful of stools at the counter make the place cozy, but mean you may have to wait a bit on a busy Friday night. See website for menu.
A San Francisco institution for hot slices and delivery in the Haight! We opened the original Escape From New York Pizza on Haight Street in 1986. Back then, the music venue Full Moon Saloon was next door and had a window into Escape so patrons could order pizza without leaving the bar. When the Full Moon became the Red Vic Movie Theater they covered up the window, so movie patrons had to sneak their hot slices into the theatre. Always a big supporter of live music, our Haight St location is known for its collection of original posters from the Fillmore, and Rock and Roll autographs. Other notable art includes a Matt Groening "Pizza is Hell" custom illustration. Come get some of the best pizza in San Francisco. Or order pizza delivery.
Thanks for making us one of the most highly-rated pizza delivery places on Yelp! Free delivery (min. $10). Fresh, high quality ingredients. Pasta, salads and more. Serving SF since 1977.
