On your way in or out of town, this could be a necessary stop. Located near three of Portland's main roadways (Interstate 5, State Highway 26 and State Highway 217), Washington Square is a convenient place to shop. Saturdays get fairly crowded, but the five major department stores, 100-plus specialty shops and well-kept landscape make it worthy of a visit if you like the mall thing. Be sure to grab a bite in one of the many restaurants.

Fubonn Shopping Center is a pre-dominantly Asian shopping center which provides all the essential products a typical Asian household may need. From condiments and Asian sauces to canned goods, noodles and vegetarian snack options, Fubonn is a wonderfully equipped store for folks with Asian taste buds. If you have been meaning to dish up a nice Asian dinner for a while, then walking into Fubonn will definitely be a step in the right direction.

Established in the summer of 2013, Union Way is the narrow pathway that connects West Burnside Street and Southwest Start Street in Downtown Portland. This narrow alley is home to around nine stores and eateries, making it a wonderful shopper's destination. Clothing stores like Steven Alan, Marine Layer and Self Edge, wellness shop, Spruce Apothecary are some of the outlets that line this alley. Gourmands can splurge at Little T Baker, Boxer Ramen and satiate their sweet tooth at QUIN. Enjoy a shopping spree as you walk from Ace Hotel to Powell's Books store, located at either end of Union Way.
