The Camden Yards Sports Complex, which is managed by the Maryland Stadium Authority, is an enormous complex encompassing the Oriole Park, The M&T Bank Stadium and The Sports Legends. Located just a few blocks away from the Lexington Market and Charles Center, the complex boats of 85 acres of land space which is extensively used for various outdoor sporting events and includes a large parking lot too. The famous Baltimore Marathon, the AST Dew Tour and the American Heritage Festival which are held in the complex draw in crowds from all over the world.
"Youth Sports Program making Baltimore City a positive place through recreational fun and family involvement activities" The Youth Sports Program (YSP) provides a variety of exciting sports activities for children and their families. We have an exciting Male Involvement component, as many of our fathers support us by coaching various sports throughout the season and setting up the equipment for our games. Parents are encouraged to coach and assist coaches for games, practices and closing activities. The YSP encourages school involvement for all parents to support their child's academic achievement. In this regard, parents are asked to show their child's Progress Reports and report cards as part of the registration process, and on a quarterly basis. If the child falls below a "C" average and does not have "good" attendance according to schools standards, a YSP representative will touch basis with the parent within 3 months to monitor the child's progress. If in fact the child has shown improvement in their attendance, grades, and/or behavior the parent and or guardian is allowed to register the child into the program.
