Opened in 2002, 1st Community Federal Credit Union Spur Arena is a multifaceted facility. This indoor arena hosts equestrian shows, rodeos, concerts and tennis matches regularly. It is also available on rent for various events. It is the home of the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo.
What was built as the San Angelo Coliseum in 1959 has now been transformed into the Foster Communications Coliseum, the venue for many of San Angelo's important events. Constructed for the singular purpose of serving as the home of the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo, it is now a multi-purpose arena that seats 5260. Apart from sporting events, this arena also serves as the venue for numerous concerts, exhibits ans trade fairs during the course of the year.
