The Cincinnati Bengals traded Logan Wilson to the Dallas Cowboy s in a move that signals an all-in status around the youth movement, headed up by defensive coordinator Al Golden.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't take long to comment on the trade, either. What's interesting, though, is that his line of thought on the trade sure sounds like what the Bengals need right now.
Jones on the Wilson trade, according to ESPN's Todd Archer :
"Some guys have the ability to see a certain key and at the same time take a step up in the hole. He knows how to get in the gaps right now … For what we need right now, he can come in immediately and help us at linebacker."

Wilson got benched this year due to a combination of poor play and the Bengals wanting to go all-in with Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight.
But those Bengals rookies have struggled mightily in many areas, including what Jones mentions above. Even so, Golden and the coaching staff didn't go back to Wilson, largely relegating him to special teams.
If nothing else, the trade puts an exclamation point on this Bengals coaching staff demanding that the future is now, possibly tying jobs to it in the process.
