- How much is Alabama football actually rotating on the offensive line? What snap counts say

Racing
Alabama football has four wins in five games to start 2025, including wins against Georgia and Vanderbilt to start its SEC schedule. Yet the Crimson Tide is still trying to find its starting five on the offensive line.
In Alabama's 30-14 win against Vanderbilt Saturday, Oct. 4, eight offensive linemen rotated in for the Crimson Tide , and one who was presumed to be a shoo-in starter heading into the season did not see a single snap.
The rotation continued to work against the Commodores. According to Pro Football Focus, Alabama allowed four pressures, three hurries and a sack, credited to Wilkin Formby . The line helped Jam Miller have a career day, bringing in 136 rushing yards while averaging 6.2 yards per touch.
As Alabama 's attention turns to Missouri , where does the Crimson Tide's offensive line rotation stand? Here's a look at snap counts through the first five games per PFF.
Kadyn Proctor : 331
Jackson Lloyd: 19
Olaus Alinen : 1
Geno VanDeMark: 1
Alabama is solidified at left tackle with Kadyn Proctor. Jackson Lloyd's 19 snaps mostly came in garbage time against Louisiana Monroe, while the true freshman did see two snaps on the road against Georgia.
Kam Dewberry : 248
William Sanders : 78
Geno VanDeMark: 25
Olaus Alinen: 3
Kam Dewberry has become a mainstay at left guard. Five games into 2025, Dewberry is 13 snaps away from matching his snap total from his 2024 campaign with Texas A&M. Redshirt freshman William Sanders has emerged as the first man off the bench for the Crimson Tide at left guard, accumulating 64 of his 80 overall snaps this season in the past two weeks against Georgia and Vanderbilt .
Parker Brailsford : 337
Joseph Ionata: 13
Geno VanDeMark: 4
Like Proctor at left tackle, Parker Brailsford has manned all but a few of Alabama's snaps at center. Joseph Ionata saw the field for 13 snaps late against Louisiana Monroe.
Geno VanDeMark: 253
Jaeden Roberts : 50
Wilkin Formby: 34
Olaus Alinen: 17
Geno VanDeMark has taken the most snaps for Alabama at right guard, playing more than 54 snaps in each of the Crimson Tide's last two games against Georgia and Vanderbilt. Jaeden Roberts' usage has fallen dramatically. After a season-high 29 snaps against Wisconsin , Roberts played seven snaps against Georgia, and zero against Vanderbilt. Wilkin Formby has played at least 15 snaps at right guard in each of Alabama's last two games. Before one snap at right guard against Louisiana Monroe, Formby had not seen a single snap anywhere but right tackle in his time at Alabama router than five snaps at left tackle in 2023.
Wilkin Formby: 238
Michael Carroll: 113
Michael Carroll has emerged as Alabama's next option at right tackle behind Formby. Formby played a season-low 32 snaps at right tackle against Vanderbilt, exceeded by Carroll, who played a career-high 41 snaps. As Formby works at both tackle and guard, Carroll has become a solid option out wide for the Crimson Tide.
