Pittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf has made his feelings clear on facing off against his former Seattle Seahawks this Sunday.
Following practice this week, reporters spoke with Metcalf and asked about any additional emotions heading into the — a revenge game, if you will. But for Metcalf, it's just another day in the office.
"Y'all are going to make it a big deal, I'm not," Metcalf said, via Penn Live's Nick Farabaugh . "It's just another football game."
Selected by the Seahawks with the 64th overall pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Metcalf caught 442 passes for 6,407 yards and 48 touchdowns in his first six years in the league. He ultimately requested a trade on March 5, and Pittsburgh didn't flinch at the opportunity to acquire one of the most athletic receivers in the league.
Despite Metcalf's attempts to throw cold water on the idea of a revenge game, all eyes will undoubtedly be on his play in leading Pittsburgh against his former Seahawks — an exciting matchup that Steelers fans can watch this Sunday, September 14, at 1:00 p.m. ET.
