Al Michaels will be back in the booth for Thursday Night Football next fall.
Prime Video told Sports Business Journal that Michaels will return for the 2026 season and the 81-year-old broadcaster, who has been calling NFL games for four decades, is eager to keep going.
“First of all, I feel great,” Michaels told Richard Deitsch. “Everyone at Amazon has been fantastic and I love working with this group. I’ve been looking at this year one year at a time and as long as I feel I’m at the top of my game, I’d like to continue.”
Fans won’t have to wait long to hear Michaels in the booth again, as Prime Video will air Saturday night’s marquee showdown between the Packers and the Bears at Soldier Field.
