Oregon WR Justius Lowe intends to enter transfer portal

Oregon Ducks wide receiver Justius Lowe intends to enter the transfer portal, On3 Sports reports. The Lake Oswego, Ore., native caught just six passes for 56 yards in 2025 and has been used sparingly offensively.

He was expected to take a step forward after catching 21 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown in 2024, but due to injuries and other receivers such as Jeremiah McClellan and Malik Benson stepping up, Lowe saw far less action than he did a season ago.

Lowe joined the Ducks as a four-star recruit ranked as the No. 14 athlete and No. 2 player in Oregon in the 2022 class.

The news comes just hours after he was announced as "out" on Oregon's Wednesday evening injury report as the team prepares for its first-round CFP matchup with the James Madison Dukes .

Lowe joins defensive backs Dakoda Fields and Jahlil Florence , who have also announced their intentions of entering the transfer portal when it officially opens on Jan. 2, 2026.

The redshirt junior will have two years of eligibility remaining.
