The Broncos also don't seem to trust their rookie running back here, RJ Harvey.
It really crystallized, I think, in that conference championship game.
They never just kind of saddled up RJ Harvey with a lot of work, you know, to grind out the game, and that kind of makes sense considering the player he's been in his rookie season.
He never cleared 80 yards as a rusher.
He was under 4.0 yards per carry in all but two games, including the playoffs, since week 11, after JK Dobbins went on IR.
The fact that they might make some moves at running back in the off-season, I think this is something to consider when we're talking about his draft outlook for next season.
RB9 in fantasy points per game from week 11 on, that was after Dobbins went out.
That's where Harvey ranked, right?
Like, he has that ability.
He does have that sort of ceiling.
I do think Harvey is the future as the lead back.
It's just never gonna be, I don't think, a lead back in the way that we're talking about, like, the top fantasy guys, where he's gonna have, you know, 25 touches a game, and he's gonna go out there and just dominate in terms of the backfield work.
