Interesting, but- Mm-hmm.
Where are you on Cam Scarbrough?
Like how good do you think Cam Scarbrough is?
'Cause like, and he's-- I was kind of shocked to see how low I am in I, and I don't even have him ranked low in fantasy, but people are drafting him in like the 40s.
'Cause I know he was really good last year, and I mean he's kind of- Yeah like a meme player, everybody knows him.
So- Yeah I'm just curious, like do you th- do you think like he could be a top, top level running back?
I was sp- I'm, I'm not.
Like I'm a- No little skeptical about that.
How high did you ever get on James Conner?
Like he was always what?
Tier two at, at best?
Even in like a- Yeah.
Yeah great steal.
Yeah.
Sca- and I think Scarbrough is a worse James Conner.
But I thought James Conner was Yeah, okay.
That's what I think.
Yeah.
I was gonna say, but I thought James Conner was better, yeah.
Scarbrough's a Diet Coke James Conner to me.
Like he's a worse ver- like and I think that, I, that's a good, that's a fine starter, but I think Conner is just a- Sure little bit better, a little bit bigger.
That's a hu- A little bit.
That's a huge home run for a fourth round pick.
Yes.
And yeah, exactly.
And Scarbrough, like it's like, oh, he got hurt.
Oh, oh, hopefully he just gets back healthy.
What part of his run style do you think that that will go away?
Even if you And I had Scarbrough as a top 100 player, like last year's running back class was loaded.
A- and I thought he, I, I, there's an appeal to him.
He has great hands.
That's another thing.
Like he's really good on those check downs and screens 'cause he has such good hands.
Another thing that James Conner is kind of underrated at, James Conner has phenomenal hands.
Totally.
But it's like just one of those things.
Like he, if he's already banged up like that, now imagine an offense that's just gonna be nothing but run plays and heavy run plays.
He's gonna need someone to take some loads off.
So it's one of those where the idea of him is better than what he actually is, because I just think there's real world limitations to that run style, especially with a guy that I don't even, you don't even need any sources or anything.
Just watch how he does interviews.
He's not gonna change.
Like he, this is- No what's made him to this point, what's got him to the league.
Nothing's gonna change how he runs 'cause that's what's got him to this point from Sacramento State to Arizona State and, and now to the Giants.
So that's the, that's the one thing is that I have some reservations about, yeah, he might be out there and be very effective, but is it six games or is it 10?
I can guarantee you it's under 16.
