Has all of this made Texas Tech the 2026 college football villain?
I would say the college football villain for the foreseeable future.
And I actually think, in a weird way, this is very good for college football because we always say, "Well, college football doesn't have a leader.
College football doesn't have somebody that's kind of guiding the way."
Cody Campbell was actively putting his name in the running for that by the things he was doing.
He's going in front of Congress and trying to get bills passed that are gonna protect college football and save college sports.
It's not necessarily exactly how that would've played out, but he had put his hand so deep in the college football cookie jar with all of this, and people are now starting to realize, hey, is Cody Campbell doing all this for the benefit of college football or for the benefit of Texas Tech?
'Cause it's very clear by how his behavior went that he doesn't actually care about the integrity of college football.
He cares about Tech winning.
And so I think it's gonna work out for college football in the long run because it's gonna be a little bit less Cody Campbell.
People are gonna be less willing to trust him.
But yeah, man, they really You're, you've alienated your entire conference.
your conference tried to take legal action against you.
You have alienated anyone who would schedule in the future.
Michigan's canceling volleyball games.
Georgia's saying they'll never play you again.
Nebraska's saying they'll never play you again.
They have done so much damage that I don't think is just a quick fix by Brendan Swords by not playing because Cody Campbell was clear they still wanted him to play, and the only reason right now that he's not still on the Texas Tech roster is because the Texas Attorney's General, Ken Paxton, came out and said something he shouldn't.
Which Cody Campbell donated to him, which makes it a little bit funny.
Cody Campbell has donated to everyone.
I- He's donated to everybody where do I put my name into the ring?
Like, where, where do I send him my Venmo?
Because, Cody Campbell is just throwing dollars around, around left and right.
My guy is I've, I've, ugh, I'm so tired of him.

I- And he's this, this professional that is going to save the sport, but he's out here being like, "Georgia players are drunk and driving all the time."
You're like, can't say stuff like that.
You're not, you're not trying to save the sport.
That- You're not trying to save the sport that drove me crazy.
And they're not the same thing.
Them driving fast is not the same thing.
