Amon-ra St. Brown's kinda just doing it all.
Like, like- Yeah he can, aside from just winning go balls down the field, but you don't have to do that.
If he's playing on the inside, outside, like I think that he would be able to, to survive.
And this is not just like some gimmicky slot wide receiver anymore.
He, it hasn't been that way in a while, but he just keeps taking the next step.
So it would just be like Petzing's just not in the same, or doesn't have Amon-Ra on the same role.
Laporta's flashing, Jamo's taking the next leap.
They have to get Gibbs involved, and then all of a sudden they're averaging 25 points per game instead of more than that, and then, like, it gets squeezed a little bit.
But man, even then I think he would still be a top five or so wide receiver.
Yeah.
The, he just is a guy that is so safe from a projection standpoint, from a floor perspective.
I pretty much think he's gonna be ranked as, like, the fifth receiver in fantasy every year, and he's gonna finish as the third receiver in fantasy pretty much every year until he retires.
Um- Yeah you know, normally when, when, coordinators come in, we do the whole, like, this guy into this role.
This happens obviously with St. Brown all the time.
Yeah.
The, the Amon-Ra St. Brown in the Marvin Harrison Jr. Role, that would not be fun.
That would be like the opposite of that.
You know?
Yeah.
Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Amari Cooper, you know, Browns role.
That, that's not what anyone actually wants to hear, and I don't think that would happen, to be clear.
Like, I, I have- That's insane Marv's rookie season 15%, on nine routes.
I will go ahead and take the under on, Amon-Ra St. Brown 15% nine routes.
I don't think that's gonna happen.
He was at 7.8% last year.
Like I said, the, this thing, the buck stops with Dan Campbell here.
There's no way Drew Petzing in his interview for the offensive coordinator position was like, "Hey Dan, here's a pitch.
What if we played Amon-Ra more at X?"
Like that's, that's not gonna happen.
Come on.
Yeah.
I, I will say this- Not, not a- I, I was looking at Ian's, Ian Hardett's timeline, and he said that right now the number three wide receiver is Greg Dortch out of, actually ahead of Isaac Tesla.
That's where it's like, okay, Dortch is playing some, slot and now Amon-Ra's like legitimately playing outside and stuff.
But I mean, come on.
Like you don't change the, the, the guys that are, you know, making you the, the most potent offense over the last half decade.
