A big 41-22 win over the Cardinals, and don't look now, if the playoffs started today.

The 49ers would be in despite those injuries.

And maybe one of the big keys to reason for hope from yesterday comes from the return of Brock Purdy.

Brock was wildly efficient: 19 of 26, 200 yards, 3 touchdowns, no picks.

We've talked a lot about Mac Jones and if Whether Mac Jones could be a quarterback controversy starter because he played well Enough, and all Brock did was come out with a little bit of rust and say, Hey, we're good.

Now, you mentioned the flip side of it all.

The good things we saw from San Francisco.

Yesterday, for the Cardinals, might be one of the strangest game plans I can remember.

Miss me if you thought at any point coming into this game that we'd be talking about Jacoby Brissett threw the ball nearly 60 times completing 47 of 57 for 452 yards yards in a losing effort.

In fact, Michael Wilson, 15 catches; Trey McBride, 10 catches.

All you guys who had Cardinals And in the fantasy world, Boy, you won, but if you watch, if you watch the Cardinals in the real world, They didn't.

This is a team that's absolutely fallen apart.

And not going to be competitive for the rest of the season.

But the 49ers have reminded us, especially as they get their starting quarterback healthy.

That they've gotten to this 0.7 and 4, largely on the back of a backup quarterback.

And now they have a chance with that efficiency On offense to start showing everybody exactly How scary San Francisco can be for the rest of the season.
