So we have Trey McBride talking about a tight end one in the prime of his career.
He was the tight end one overall on fantasy points per game, expected points, targets, which is by the way 10 per game, receptions, yards per game.
He was a 19th overall player, when I look at half PPR fantasy points over replacement per game.
In full PPR, it'd even be higher than that one.
Unfortunately, I just don't think that he's gonna be able to repeat those because, he went absolutely crazy with Jacoby Brissett.
Jacoby Brissett's gonna play, but just a totally different, staff.
This Cardinals team was, number one in, neutral pass rate by the end of the season.
There's zero chance that's what the Cardinals are gonna do this year.
So I think you can start just like chopping off some of like the, the gimme looks that Trey McBride, has been getting over the last couple years.
I think that he's still maybe the best tight end in football.
He's exceptional.
He's one of my favorite players to watch.
I just think that, like you said, with Marvin gonna be healthier, Michael Wilson post-breakout, now you have Jeremiah Love, and I just don't think that the scam offense that they were running last year, they're not gonna do that with LaFleur.
They're gonna try to be- Correct play real football.
So I think that you're just gonna be chopping off too many of the volume stats away from Trey McBride, where he's gonna finish like nowhere near where he did last year and still hopefully worth a, a third-round selection.
Yeah.
Maybe this is still an overcorrection for me because, you know, the stat that he ran 120 more routes than the next closest tight end is at the top of my brain.
It's so wild.
I mean, he That's three games worth of extra routes that Trey McBride ran last year.
That's simply not happening.
He's also not in a Drew Petzing offense that, you know, focuses so much on the tight end.
And as good as Carson Beck might have looked in the Hall of Fame game, we also don't think he's gonna get, you know, Jacoby Brissett throwing to him for 17 games.
And, you know, they were so pass heavy when it came to Jacoby Brissett last year, like number one in the league in neutral drop back rate.
It's insane.
I don't think you sign, you know, Tyler Allgeier and you draft Jeremiah Love to be number one in neutral drop back rate.
So with all that said, that, that forces me to have Trey McBride as my 34th overall player.
Yeah.
So we kind of have this bracket of you have Love and McBride almost back to back much earlier, and I have them about six or seven spots later.
