All right, Trey McBride at the very top of the round here.
I think just recent history suggests that we have to be very careful with drafting elite tight ends.
Trey McBride was the exception last year.
I was in on Trey McBride that year.
There are just too many new variables this year to feel confident that this is gonna repeat.
Obviously, I still have Trey McBride as a, as a great pick as you get to, like, the last part of round three.
But early round three, I would just rather take my swings on the, the running backs, like Jeremiah Love, for example.
Any of the wide receivers, like if Nico Collins is there, I just feel way better about that.
McBride led the regular season in routes by 63.
That's not tight ends, that's all players.
Number two was Michael Wilson.
Now that's because this team was in crazy garbage, time the entire season, and then even when they weren't in garbage time, they were still number one in neutral pass rate.
I just find that hard to believe happening again with LaFleur on the sticks.
You add Jeremiah Love to the backfield, it seems to be a more balanced offense.
I don't think they're gonna do the PPR scam here, and Arizona is still 31st in projected points per game.
That feels a little bit light to me that they're only ahead of the New York Jets, but the difference between the Jets and the Cardinals is the Jets have one pass catcher drafted in the top 160 picks in fantasy.
Yeah.
The Cardinals have three in the top 90.
So the target competition versus the projected touchdowns, I think that that math's hard to kinda square away.
McBride's literally one of my favorite players in the entire NFL.
If he falls to 34th, somewhere over there, I'm gonna draft him for sure.
The 25th overall ADP, I just, I think that's, you know, buying the top.
We all like to project which bottom offense by the markets is going to outperform that considerably.
All the chips and all the draft picks are in the position of the Cardinals.
I kinda wanna be on the side of the New York Jets with, uh- Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall of this versus everyone else on, on the Cardinals.
So, maybe that's wrong, maybe it's right.
We'll see.
Yeah, I mean, y- you mentioned the next closest pass catcher was what, 63 routes?
The next closest tight end for Trey McBride was 120 routes.
That's three games
