With the 2025 fantasy football season over, let's look at a way-too-early 2026 fantasy The football draft should go with the first overall pick, once again Ja'Marr Chase.
Now to be clear, there are four guys that I believe are worthy of the first overall pick.
But if Joe Burrow stays healthy, Ja'Marr Chase is the only wide receiver who can push for 2,000 yards and get close to 20 touchdowns.
The next three guys are Christian McCaffrey, Puka Nacua and Jahmyr Gibbs.
All of these guys are worthy of being the first overall pick and can be the number one player in fantasy football.
In the next tier, Tier 1B, there are two guys.
The first one being Bijan Robinson.
Who can be the RB1 overall in fantasy football?
But he's in this weird situation with who the quarterback is going to be next year.
Is it going to be Michael Penix?
When do we see him?
And the second player, CeeDee Lamb.
Do we see George Pickens back next year?
Because if we don't, we know what CeeDee Lamb is capable of when he's all by himself.
The wide receiver one overall.
Tier two kicks off with JSN, Who was incredible this year.
But does he continue to play at this level or Was it a one-off and he returns to just being really good?
Next we have De'Von Achane, who was also amazing, but what does this offense look like?
Next year?
Who is the quarterback even going to be?
And the same can be said for Jonathan Taylor, who was incredible to start this year.
But ended up cooling off a little bit once Daniel Jones got hurt.
So, the quarterback is a big key here.
And finally, At the bottom of this tier, we have James Cook, who, if he sees the volume that he saw this year, he's worthy of a first-round pick.
And finally, The back end of the first round.
There will be a lot of moving parts here.
But Justin Jefferson, it's hard to see him not having a bounce-back season.
Even though he was maybe the biggest bust in fantasy football this year.
I guess it does matter who's throwing you the football.
And finally, I'm going to say Breece Hall, because he's going to end up going to Dallas.
Although I have no idea, if he does, that'd be really cool.
Whoever the Dallas running back is, he'll be really good in fantasy football next year.
Let me know how I did.
