With the college football season in the books, it's time to turn our attention to the 2026 NFL Draft.
Let's take a look at the top 5 QBs.
In this class, according to PFF's Big Board.
It, of course, starts with Indiana's Fernando Mendoza.
The projected No.
1 overall pick won both a Heisman Trophy and a national championship.
This past season.
His 41 passing TDs and 129.4 passer ratings were each the best marks in the country.
At number two is Alabama's Ty Simpson.
His 30 big-time throws tied for the most.
In college football this past season.
Coming in third is Ole Miss' Trinidad Chambliss.
The former D-II QB exploded onto the scene this year with an 87.8 PFF grade.
It is worth mentioning, Though, he's currently suing the NCAA for a sixth season of eligibility.
So, he might not even be in this NFL Draft.
At number four is LSU's Garrett Nussmeier.
It wasn't quite the senior year he wanted, But he still has an 86.1 career PFF grade.
And rounding out the top five is Miami's Carson.
Beck.
He came up just short in the national title.
Game and has an elite 90.3 PFF grade for his career.
