A star in Carter who I will say it was a little disappointing last year.

I, I'm gonna- Agreed I'll be open about that- Agreed 'cause I-- he has defensive player of the year potential.

So even if he just plays good, that to me is a down year.

You know what I mean?

Like that is- Agreed whether that's fair or not, he just got paid, so now I can say this.

You got paid- Yeah so now you, now you have to play like that level 'cause that's what he, he- But, and isn't this too-- Do you think-- Sorry, do, do you think, do you-- 'Cause some of this was, like, mixed in with him coming out of Georgia with, like, the type, like, the want to, and d- do you, is that something- Yeah you think, like, is it, is this always gonna be a consistent worry for you with him?

Or do you think, like, it is gonna be more up and down?

Or do you think it's always gonna be something where, like, you're left wanting more, knowing what he's capable of and he's not hitting it, which is a worry and a concern when he was coming out of Georgia?

I think it's gonna be like Chris Jones-ish, where it's like a lot of it's gonna be good- Oh, good comp as long as we're win- as, as long as we're really winning, everything's hunky dory- Fair and everything.

But as soon as stuff is like, maybe we're not going so great, then you have to, like, hold onto your hat a little bit.

Which is not- Fair.

I don't think he'll ever be that kind of bonafide team leader type, whether that's fair or not.

Yeah.

I just don't think that's his personality anyways.

Um- Fair so I think that's why I think the Eagles also, because they have so many good guys on the roster, that helps insulate it a little bit too.

They have, like, a lot of just, like- Fair truly good leader types at every position group and everything, so I think that's why they're comfortable with it a little bit.

But yeah, it's-- There's gonna be times throughout his career, like, and I would even say this year, that it's gonna be frustrating 'cause I just think that's his personality.

I think he's, he's got a little bit of that kind of like, "F this," you know?

Like, and he just kind of, "I'm gonna get mine."

Like, but then you rein it back in.

That, a lot of stars can be like this.

That's just part of-- Not everyone's gonna be fricking Khalil Mack, you know, or got a guy that- Yeah you know, Reggie White, you know, these guys that do everything perfect every single time.

Like, not everyone's gonna be like that.

Sure.

You know, so it's just, you just kinda take some of those blows with the- And there, and there's gonna be times- You just gotta hopefully- where he does say, like- But if you're winning games- Yes you don't have to worry about it.

Yes.

And it's also tough too, when he, when you do have a guy like that, it'll be like, "F this, I'm getting mine."

And then he gets his and makes the play- Yeah and it reinforces that he can do that.

Then it's all fine.

And then you're like, "Oh.

Yeah, then it's all fine."

That's why we call him, that's why we call him Better Bes.

You better be right, and then if you're right- then it's great.

Then it's like, "All right, cool.

Thanks, thanks buddy."
