How exactly are we going to pivot from here?

We'll see with what subsequent moves we make.

LaMelo becomes made available and it's like, all right well let's do LaMelo and let's build the roster out in a way that yeah fits that but that drastically different man Like I'm curious to hear from you guys of Or maybe you can just like contextualize how big of a shift this is 'cause I'm still trying to wrap my head around like they played one way for the last few years This is gonna be very very different Is-is-is my read on it What d-- what do you guys, what do you guys see?

Well ,I mean for me even going back to the Lame- laMelo trade It was clear Minnesota wanted to refresh their vision on what they were gonna do So you kinda mentioned it earlier Dane about maybe this group has hit their ceiling Okay, let's go another little bit of a completely different direction Let's solidify this guard room And let's put ourselves in a position where okay if we're playing the Thunder or playing the Spurs we're a little slower We have some lulls we have more people who can attack We have more people w-who can create You know not just hey as Anthony Edwards when he get two on the ball Can we play out of it?

And so that's where I'm like "okay" It's a question I'll ask i-- here in a second But like LaMelo's going to help them What's gonna be the biggest impact is gonna interesting Is it the scoring?

Is the Playmaking?

Is the transition?

Is the pace?

But I think overall it's okay this version of our team is very good but we've hit the ceiling with this version So how do we refresh around Anthony Edwards and around success ?Like that's not an easy thing to do So you get LaMelo Who's dynamic and you should feel a lot better about your guard rooms As far as just having talent on the floor at all times And obviously you're able to add Jonathan Kuminga Okay .We're not necessarily gonna have the bigs But do we make up for that with a version o-of a ath-athleticism Do we ma-make up with that with some driving?

Do we have more threats on the court consistently Are we able to play a little bit different stylistically and have a lever A level versatility that we didn't necessarily have Because eventually we're gonna get to the part Where Julius Randle and Naz Reid have to do X Mm-hmm And that's where I'm like s that tradeoff The one that you're willing to do But I think it's a swing for the fences In the best way possible That continuity is great until it isn't Yeah
