What, what do you, what did you think, Kieran?
What is Are they still the fourth best team behind Denver in the West, or what are we looking at here?
Yeah, I'm, I'm a guy that gets really deep in the trenches with kind of reading about teams and, and what's happening within the locker room.
And it, it appears with stories coming out that we were onto something last year with understanding that Julius Randle was not a good locker room fit for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Especially after they kinda tried to, to shop him at the trade deadline.
He checked out.
I don't know how you can check out from shooting a basketball in a game, but somehow he shot under 30%, from three the second half of the season.
It was so bad in Minnesota with Julius Randle that you, you mentioned kinda getting rid of the dead weight.
I hate to say it, but Julius Randle, outside of a couple defensive match-ups, was dead weight for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Him being gone is addition by subtraction.
LaMelo is a huge wild card.
I, I hope it works out.
I think we talked about it last year and we made jokes about how I didn't want LaMelo at the time.
I'm pumped to have LaMelo at this point, because whatever we had wasn't working, and the Timberwolves did not have a point guard.
That's where you see the LeBron James Band-Aid come into play.
If he can play the forward for one or two years for the Timberwolves to kinda get them over the hump here.
But they, they brought in Trey Lyles.
They got a couple other guys.
You know, Jaden might play the forward a little bit.
They might use Jalen Clarke to play the forward on defense and just, you know, take up some fouls for his teammates.
They've got guys that can get it done.
And as we know, they've got seven or eight guards.
I mean, we've talked about Desumu.
D- Divencenzo's coming back, Anthony Edwards.
You know, Jaden, Jaden McDaniels should be more in the, the three spot.
This team has a lot of guys.
Terrence Shannon Jr.
In the playoffs came on.
We know how deep they are.
I don't know why they You know, a, a guy like Josh Green, I don't know where that's gonna fit.
He's gonna have to play the forward a little bit if they keep him.
My, my thought is the Timberwolves are one trade away from being a serious championship contender.
Hopefully that happens in the first half of the season and we don't have to wait for the, the trade deadline.
But if it does come up on the trade deadline, one or two of those twos are gonna be gone, and, probably attach it to a second round or, you know, a first round pick five years out.
Because the Timberwolves literally only have one first round pick in the next five or six years
