I got a text last night, and this is very Foreboding if you're Ole Miss.
I got a text last night after the game, And it was from someone at Ole Miss who said, "The scariest thing is that tonight there was No lane.
"There was no lane focus."
Hmm.
There was no Layne attention.
He didn't show up, and I'm terrified of what he's going to do to bring the spotlight back to himself next."
So I I don't know...
I don't know if it's...
I don't know if it's going to be an ultimatum.
I don't know if it's going to be actually Yeah.
Pulling some of these coaches from the next round, but it just feels Right.
... Like... And I thought it was a very prescient text.
Of course, Obviously, they are very biased in having dealt with Kiffin.
But history tells us when we turn our eyes away from him, He does a really good job of making it about himself as fast as possible.
There was a thought around Ole Miss that all six assistants heading to LSU will not Continue on with Ole Miss in the playoffs, regardless of the outcome of this game.
And we don't know for sure, for certain, about that yet.
Um, Keith Carter, the athletic director at Ole Miss, was, He said he didn't know the future of the assistants after the game.
So nothing is certain right now.
As Andy said, There's a meeting in the staff meeting portal, staff stuff.
Recruiting, et cetera, back at LSU, and I know at least a few of the, The assistants who coached in the game last night are there.
In LSU football ops right now at 9:30 AM local time here.
I don't know how many are going to stay permanently with LSU and not, you know, and not continue to coach Ole Miss.
It'll be fascinating to sort of see.
