Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes sit atop the best odds to win MVP in a stunning development.
Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, uh, good.
Uh, but we see Drake May right there at 3rd best odds.
Yeah, who would have thought?
We see Matthew Stafford, Baker Mayfield right underneath them.
So do any of these three quarterbacks, either they're listed or not listed, have an opportunity to leapfrog Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes, or is this a two-horse race between Allen and Mahomes?
Yeah, we've seen this a lot with MVP.
We've seen even more in college with Heisman, where seemingly every week there's a new favorite.
It's generally been Mahomes, it was Lamar Jackson, uh, and it was Josh Allen kind of up top.
I think Drake May has a potential chance, but now at 450 or 500.
There's not necessarily the value on him, especially as, again, he's gonna play tougher defenses.
They have a tough game against the Bucks this week.
So we'll have a much better sense kind of of how he performs, uh, and how he performs potentially without Keyshaw Booty.
I was looking at one down a little further down the board that pains me to say it, but Sam Darnold at 20 to 1, I think the Seahawks have been kind of perpetually underrated this season.
They're the number one team in DVOA, so the best team in DVOA across the NFL right now.
Their remaining schedule, they have 4 games against the NFC West.
So if you think they're the best team in the NFC West, they should win most of those games.
And because of how they played last year, they also have some easier games.
They get the Panthers, the Titans, they do play the Falcons and the Colts, and my Vikings, but I think they're just kind of rolling along right now.
And that Rasheed Shaheed deal should be a perfect fit in that offense as well.
Another speed option.
They're kind of under the radar cause they're out in Seattle.
They maybe don't get the national attention as much, but they absolutely demolished the commanders in that game that we saw.
That game was over in the 1st quarter, and they're just kind of slowly humming along.
So I think they're finally getting some of that recognition, Sam.
Darnold played really, really well for 16 games last season.
Unfortunately, there were 18 that he needed to play, but he's been playing really well for right now a season and a half, and at some point, this is the new Sam Darnold, not the one that we remember from those Jets and Panthers seasons.
