We also have the real story here, which is that Stefon Diggs returned to Buffalo.
Right?
The revenge game.
Like, at some point, we might need to get a revenge graphic, or revenge song.
Like we've been bringing revenge games up every single week here, and we've seen some of them turn into pretty big performances.
Doesn't Diggs seem like the kind of guy who's going to try to do that?
Like, last week, he's got to be feeling good too.
Coming off his best game as a Patriot, over 100 yards in that one, playing time on the rise, he's getting a little further removed from the injury.
I could see him coming out and having a massive performance in this one.
The Bills will probably want to try to stop that from happening.
Um, and yet, after we saw the game that we saw last week from him, I think there's a good chance that Diggs has a good performance in this one.
Can Drake May kind of keep this going?
Because right now, he looks like a fantasy quarterback one, but he's going to need some other guy.
To step up along the way like Diggs did last week in order to continue this, and in order to get that next level for fantasy, and to show can he potentially be like a mid-range or even high-end QB one, or is he just one of the many quarterbacks who are in that low-end QB one kind of range.
May looks great so far this year.
Like the stats are what they are.
He's been good in fantasy, but I just think from like a process standpoint, he still makes two-ish plays per game.
Or you, brother, what are you doing?
Uh, you know, he, and then I think he's always going to have that gene in him, and it's just how long can they deal with that versus can we coach it out of him, you know, whatever.
But this is his second year starting first with this coaching staff, and I think you can see how much, but sometimes, when you're watching a team, you can feel how much the play caller loves and trusts the quarterback, and I definitely get that vibe watching Josh Daniels.
They put, they put a lot on Drake May's plate from a conceptual standpoint.
Um, they ask, they ask him to do a lot.
He carries the burden of this offense.
The stat we're showing on the screen from Danlosky right now, he is accounted for 77% of his team's yardage, more than any player in football because their run game stinks.
Uh, reminder, Stevensons been all right this season, but generally they don't have a very productive run game, and he has been such a productive runner.
I think that's going to be a big part of the game plan, and they're just mixing in a ton of interesting quarterback run stuff as well.
Some are really high on Drake May and on Stefon Diggs.
Just to be frank, I think the film was brutal in the first few weeks, but we know he's coming off a serious injury.
He's way ahead of his timeline to even be on the football field right now.
That's not uncommon for some of these injured players to come back and they just won't look that great in week one of the return.
Here in week 4, I think he looks much better.
I think he and Drake May are getting some timing down together.
They're getting more live reps.
I'm really excited about their potential connection.
I think if Diggs can emerge as that guy, the 12 personnel that they use, they move Diggs around a little bit.
I think that's a good building block for what can be a sustainable offense in New England.
Yeah, I have him ranked as a top 30 receiver this week in part because of the revenge thing, in part because of the production that we saw last week from him.
