The massive drumbeat from training camp is that fifth round pick Cyrus Allen, is about to take Rashee Rice's lunch money.
Are, are you worried about that?
C- can I just say before you answer that question, I try not to go on the For You page on Twitter sometimes because it can be a mess.
The algorithm has been perfect this week.
It's rage-baiting me about something else that, that I know we're gonna get to later in the show.
But, every time I pop on that For You page, the first, like, seven tweets, it's like, "Hey, this is for you, big boy.
Cyrus Allen tearing it up in training camp," not but, like, 24 hours after I joked that he was gonna become the greatest receiver of all time with Josh and Hayden on the show earlier this week.
So, any reaction from you that, that Rashee Rice, the era, of him scamming targets is over 'cause they got a real deal receiver there now in, in fifth round pick Cyrus Allen?
Again, I think barring injury, barring another off-field situation this year, no.
I don't think it's much of a, a worry.
But in terms of dynasty, I got a ton of shares of Allen now as well, right?
I, I was out there even after drafts where in shorter, you know, rookie drafts, he wasn't getting taken, and then it goes to the waiver wire and you have this, like, crazy bidding process where we're trying to get the remaining rookies.
I was spending quite a bit of fab to try to get him on my rosters in some of those deeper leagues, and I'm happy to say that I did it.
I think he's gonna position himself now, if he hasn't already, to be the backup who's ready to go if we see, you know, Rice do something again where he's gonna miss time.
But no, I think that's more of a, a dynasty scenario, where Rice's long-term outlook with the Chiefs is certainly in question in my mind, and I think that's where we start to consider Allen being the guy who could take over for him.
