So let's talk about Grady Emerson.
I know he's someone that you've kind of dug in on a little bit more over the last couple days.
What has stood out, about him to you?
Grady Emerson, high school shortstop from Texas, transferred for his senior season from a big public high school to a smaller Christian private school, that is coached by former big leaguer Rusty Greer.
Think he wanted to kind of be in that t- type of environment for his senior year.
it's, it just He has been the best player in his class for, like, four years.
he has been relatively baseball famous for a while now.
He is your prototypical does everything well high school shortstop.
The raw athleticism might not be there.
It is similar in that regard to last year's number one overall pick, Eli Willits, where he does- a lot well and nothing at an extraordinary level.
I really love this guy.
I think that it is incredibly advanced.
I think as he gets older, he will add more power, he will add more athleticism when he gets into a, a, a pro training program.
We have seen players like this, up the middle high school athletes at the top of the draft.
Like, when you are special, when you are se- like, you can separate yourself, when you are, like, described as a guy who hits, right?
That's the thing with Emerson.
Like, people believe in this bat.
Mm-hmm.
I think the sky's the limit here.
I'm very in on Grady Emerson.
Yeah, and there are certainly some teams that also view it as kind of obvious that he is the best player in the class just because of what he's been so consistently the whole time, that you project him to, to be a, a good shortstop, a left-handed hitter who's gonna grow into more power that's done it, you know- Yeah on the showcase circuit against, against the best competition.
So yeah, that's why he's kind of separated himself and, and really held serve at the top there.
