2B Marcus Semien after Mets 10th straight loss: 'This is the big boy league, no time to dwell on it'
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza, starter Freddy Peralta and 2B Marcus Semien continue to insist that despite dropping their 10th game in a row on Saturday, they are going to keep grinding and get back in the win column. Mendoza knows "we have to dig ourselves out of the hole we made for ourselves." Semien, in his 13th season, has seen just about every streak good and bad but the only way for the team to change its fortunes is "come back out tomorrow ready to go."
