Aaron Ashby's Five-Out Save Puts Brewers Up 2-0 in the World Series
Aaron Ashby closed out Game 2 of the World Series with a five-out save, sealing a 5-4 Brewers win and a 2-0 series lead. The left-handed reliever hasn't allowed a run this postseason as he chases Andrew Miller's record of 16 straight scoreless innings to open a postseason, set in 2016. Manager Pat Murphy has used Ashby for multiple innings in tight games. Against the Dodgers he protected a one-run lead every time out, including a three-inning save in the pennant clincher. With one win, three saves and 10 scoreless World Series outs, Ashby has Milwaukee two wins from its first championship.
