"the rich get richer" is a clich that gets used far too often, but for the Rams, it certainly applies.
Aaron Donald announced that he is coming out of retirement to join an already loaded Rams team that is now-- has their own version of the Fearsome Foursome on their defensive line.
Aaron Donald, Miles Garrett, the Rams have five combined Defensive Player of the Year awards on their defensive line.
Aaron Donald has three, and Miles Garrett is the defending Defensive Player of the Year with two.
And not to mention, the Rams on offense have the reigning MVP in Matthew Stafford.
The Rams are the first team in NFL history to have the reigning MVP at quarterback and the defending Defensive Player of the Year on the same team, and now they get Aaron Donald, a future Hall of Famer, one of the best defensive tackles of his generation.
The Rams already had the number one total offense in the NFL last year.
Defense was their Achilles heel and the reason why they lost to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship game, and they have reloaded and retooled in a major way.
They are the heavy, heavy favorite to be in Super Bowl sixty-one this year, especially now that they have convinced Aaron Donald to come out of retirement to join an already loaded Rams team, one of the best rosters that we have seen in the NFL in recent memory.
