So we know that the Alabama Crimson Tide are firmly entrenched in a battle for who's going to be their starting running back.
And Bruce Feldman just released his Freaks list.
We talked about Ryan Coleman-Williams.
There's another player even higher than Daniel Hill who we will talk about.
But coming in at number twenty-three on this list, a very impressive ranking, is running back Daniel Hill for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
And some of these numbers are just absolutely insane when you're talking about a running back.
And Daniel Hill, this off-season, came out, told the media that he really sharpened up his diet, cut out a lot of the junk food.
He looks a lot leaner, he looks a lot faster, a lot more explosive.
The early goings of camp have been a good sign for him, and he now comes in at six foot one, two hundred and thirty-seven pounds.
But here's what's crazy.
Bench press is four hundred and eighty-five, power clean is three hundred and seventy-five, vertical jump's thirty-eight inches, broad jump's ten foot four.
Squats eight hundred pounds.
He's a six foot one, two hundred and thirty-seven pound running back who has lost weight, and he squats eight hundred pounds.
Bruce Feldman also talked about how good he was in the State of Mississippi in the hundred and ten meter dash and hurdles.
Daniel Hill is extremely explosive.
The fact that he's still only twenty years old, the fact that he's in the middle of this camp battle to be the starting running back for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
There was times last year where you watch him, you're like, "He's so big.
We can see him get through the hole.
Just use your size more."
And I think that coming into twenty twenty-six, that's exactly what he's gonna do.
He's gonna be a north south runner.
He's gonna know that when he gets his opportunities, if he's not the starter, or even if he is, he's gotta plow through people.
He's gotta use that eight hundred pound squat, he's gotta use that Derrick Henry light frame that he has and just get vertical.
Just put your head down, just use your explosion, just use your frame, and just bully some guys at the point of attack.
So to see Daniel Hill at twenty-three on this list is a very good sign for him as he is firmly entrenched in a battle to be Alabama's starting running back.
But you guys let me know in the comments below, who do you think should start at tailback for Alabama come week one?
