No, no, we're not gonna do a Maxx Crosby should be traded to Dallas show every single time, the spirit moves us.

Let's review the latest on Maxx Crosby, a Cowboy fan's dream.

Five-time Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby.
A year ago, he signs a new three-year, $106 million deal with the Raiders.
Average annual salary of $35.5 million, kind of.
Now he wants out, and if you remember the end of the season, when we started really stirring this thing up for a second time First time was at the trade deadline, when the Cowboys called the Raiders.
I know they did, and at least touched base, and the Raiders said no, and it didn't go anywhere.
Then we get to the end of the season, and the Raiders tell Max, "Your knee hurts.
We're gonna organically tank."
And he says, "No, my knee's fine.
Watch me.
I'm gonna dunk basketballs on a trampoline."
But nevertheless, they put him in mothballs for the last couple games of the year.
He didn't like it then.
He doesn't like it now.
This comes from Jay Glazer, by the way, a trusted Fox Sports guy who is very connected.
They're, they're friends, Maxx Crosby.
It's also worth noting, as we chase this thing down in the coming ten weeks, and I'll tell you why it's ten weeks in a moment, Jay Glazer also, i- has a really good relationship with Stephen Jones, like friends.
So just tuck that in your back pocket as we plow forward.
The market goes from Maxx to Micah.
Micah takes a nap on the sideline as he plots his escape from Dallas, gets $186 million with the Packers.
Good for him, $47 million a year.

So here comes Glazer saying, "Yep, Crosby's about done there."
And he's not, he's not making this up.
He, he didn- I don't even know if he has to say sources.
We all know where he's getting that from.
He's getting it straight from Maxx Crosby.
Tensions still boiling.
Lowly Las Vegas getting ready for another rebuild.
He, he's not interested in that, and he's still miffed about the mothballs.
What would it cost?
What kind of haul do the Raiders get?
Glazer, quote, "Probably more than Micah."
Diddly, diddly, dink, what?
What does that mean?
Well, you know, you remember the original return on Micah Parsons, the trade to Green Bay.
The, the Cowboys come out of that thing okay, actually.
it's, it's disastrous because the original plan was to keep Micah Parsons, and he nodded his head to $40 million a year.
you, you can't say now, "Oh, this is- this plan's better," when everybody was in love with that plan.
But you got Clark, and you got two firsts, Kenny Clark and two firsts.
And then, of course, came the trade deadline thing.
You called on Maxx Crosby.
You called on, Trey Hendrickson.
But when you called the Jets on Quinnen Williams, they said yes.
So tho- those, those, pieces have a- all been shuffled around the board a little bit.
Glazer said, "It's Maxx's decision," and he was like, "I'm not going through another rebuild."
That sounds like something Maxx told Glazer.
Las Vegas has the number one pick in the upcoming draft, so they can fix this thing, but it's still gonna be a rebuild.
They can draft, Fernando Mendoza and start over at quarterback, and if he can-- if he's good, I don't know, they got a, they got a good- they got a fine young running back.
They got a super stud at tight end.
They, they can start getting not bad.
What does a massive haul mean?
Would the Cowboys do it?
I've heard people say, "The Cowboys are more than one player away."
Yeah, but I got to start with one player.
I'm, I, I need My defense needs three or whatever.
Well, it starts with one.
Glazer mentions a draft drake- draft day trade.
I wanna make this clear what that means.
I'm seeing some media people say, "I'd like, I'd like the Cowboys to trade for Maxx Crosby, but after the draft."
Well, why would the Raiders do that?
They, they want a payoff.
You think they want your 2029 first-round pick?
No.
The, the Raiders, if they're gonna do this, would-- If they're really gonna do it, and they're committed to it, and Maxx is committed to it, they do it in the next ten weeks.
They do it before the draft.

They didn't do it with one player, but they did it one player by one, by one, by one.
So Crosby's deal has no dead money attached to it after this year, so you could cut him.
I wouldn't, but the point is, you're not married to him forever.
You're not married to the hundred, hundred and six million dollar deal, if you don't wanna be.
So here's the three new wrinkles that, serve as food for thought.

One, Max Crosby is serious about wanting to escape Vegas.
That's clear.
This isn't a negotiating tactic.
He's not trying to get more money from the Raiders.
He's not pretending he's upset.
He's upset.
Two, this figures to all happen, quite possibly, in the next ten weeks, as Glazer's mentioning draft day as a deadline of sorts.
Again, you can do it afterwards.
You could do it anytime you wanted to.
They can do it anytime they wanted to.
But if they want a payoff, they wanna do it in advance of this draft.
They want your pick now.
They, they want a couple of your picks now, and that takes us to wrinkle three.
The Micah-like hall.
Now And I like Jay Glazer.
I, I know him a little bit.
He's no water carrier, but he's friends with Max.
So I don't know if a team told him or the Raiders told him, "Hey, it's gonna take two first-round picks and a player," 'cause that's what it was for Micah.
Or if that's Glazer building up Max's value, or if that's Glazer professional opinion with some bias 'cause he likes Max.
Is Max Crosby more valuable than Micah Parsons?
As valuable as Micah Parsons.
The Micah Parsons hall means Dallas would have to give up, Dallas or any other team, give up a player, Kenny Clark-level player, and two first-round picks.
I'm not giving up twelve.
But in theory, based on the Micah hall, I'm giving up pick number twenty, and then I'm giving up my other first rounder in twenty twenty-seven.
And remember, while on paper, the Cowboys had two first rounders next year, they've committed one of 'em to the Jets for Quinnen.
So if they did this, they'd still have twelve.
They give away twenty this year.
They give away a first-round pick next year and a player.
They would have no first-round pick in twenty twenty-seven, which they do not like.
But that's what it would be.
you're giving the higher of the two in twenty twenty-seven to the Jets in the Quinnen trade.
So Glazer's guesstimation here is two firsts and a player.
Pick number twenty, and it'll be the Packers', Oh, not necessarily.
You don't know what it'll be in twenty twenty-seven.
Let, let's put it in the middle of the pack for now.
So or let's, let's make it twenty.
So it'll be at the twentieth overall pick this year, and somewhere around, you hope you're good enough for it to be the twentieth overall pick in twenty twenty-seven, and a player.
That's what's on the table.
That's what's at stake.
Now, kick it around in your own head.
Long way to go here.
Ten weeks is a long time.
But if the Raiders are serious about gaining capital, and if Max is serious about cutting ties, I promise you, the Cowboys will be one of the teams picking up the phone.
And then I hope for your sake, they do their best to avoid having to give up a Micah-hall-sized price.
