Andy Green, Marcus Semien and Zac Thornton on Mets fourth straight win
Following the Mets' 6-4 win over the Pirates, interim manager Andy Green, Marcus Semien and Zac Thornton addressed the media. Green and Semien were both pleased with the offense, and Thornton said he felt great in spite of the rain delay midway through the game.

Yeah, really good early.
Tough set of circumstances for us with, the rain coming in the second inning.
I thought guys came back right after the rain and took great swings.
Thought it was a really tough reviewed call, on the tag-up in that inning.
We could've really blown it open, 'cause we had great at-bats that entire inning.
Still, like, good grit, good fight the whole time.
Felt good about the at-bats.
What's the situation with Benge right now?
He had X-rays, on the left wrist.
It was negative.
We'll see how he wakes up in the morning and determine if he needs potentially more tests.
It's a little stiff right now for him.
He made an unbelievable catch, and just kind of jammed it into the wall.
Marcus, what'd you think of the offense tonight?
Well, we came out strong.
You know, I think Ewing got it started, hit the ball hard all night.
Had a little rain delay, but, overall, if we, if we can score six, I think we'll give ourselves a chance.
What are you doing to be able to tap into more power as of late?
I don't know.
I think I'm just staying balanced, staying through the ball.
Trying to get good pitches to hit, you know.
We went to Cleveland and got a lot of off-speed the first two days, and got back on the fastball yesterday and same thing today.
So if I can be on time for a fastball and stay through it, sometimes good things happen.
Zach, how'd you feel out there tonight?
Felt, really good despite that, delay.
Still felt the same.
How did How difficult is it to wait an hour and then go back out and pitch the way you did?
Really not too difficult, as much as kind of people make it seem.
We kind of went into the back and almost, like, simulated games.
Mm-hmm.
So I got a few more bullets out back there.
Did you feel among it?
Yeah.
Just what did you think about being able to, you know, rebound after that perform- you know, the, the game against Miami?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, I mean, I knew, knew I needed to get back in zone early, early on, with most every pitch, so thought I did a good job of that.
