Andy Green and Zac Thornton on the lefty's sub-par outing in loss, Tyrone Taylor talks HR surge

Interim Mets manager Andy Green appreciated Zac Thornton's effort in a 6-2 loss to the Marlins but agreed it was not his sharpest effort. Thornton talked about being behind in too many counts and the Marlins made him pay for it. The only bright spot on the day was yet another home run from Tyrone Taylor . Green called Taylor's current stretch "phenomenal." The Mets outfielder said he feels "free" at the plate and again credited the coaching staff with instilling the confidence he has at the plate.
