Arch Manning's Mindset Has Texas LOCKED IN for 2026
Arch Manning told Rob Gregson he blocks out both the praise and the criticism as he prepares for the 2026 season. The Texas quarterback's disciplined mindset reflects a Longhorns team fully focused on winning.

Arch Manning just continues to prove that Texas is locked in when it comes to the twenty twenty-six season.
Because at the SEC Media Days, I asked Arch, after he explained that he tries to block out all the negative noise, I asked him if he sees the positive noise, if he sees the fact that his name is the top of mock drafts, and he's lauded as one of the best quarterback prospects in years.
And he gave a very detailed, thorough response, and basically said, "I have to block out the good noise the same way I do the bad noise."
And I mentioned about being present in the moment, how he focuses on that, and he says that's what drives him daily, that he just wants to be there for his teammates.
He wants to make sure that he's putting one foot in front of the other.
And funny enough, he ended this answer to the question by saying, "I'm just focused on finishing up this interview."
And I think that tells a lot about Arch Manning because there seems to be almost different really connotations or, discourse when it comes to Manning and who he is as a person/as a player, but he seems very down to earth.
He seems like he's all ball.
He seems like he really just wants to go out there and win.
And there were people crowning him when he didn't play a snap, and there were people, those same people who were crowning him, saying that he was terrible when he started out slow.
So I think Arch Manning, I think the Texas Longhorns are in for a big year.
I think they are completely dialed in.
They've blocked out a lot of the noise.
They're not focusing on anything but football, and I think it's gonna pay dividends by the end of the twenty twenty-six season.
