I'm in closer to believer than skeptic, but I'm also a I wanna see him beat somebody.
Now, all the math that you told me in late last year and how they dominated Michigan and played well and played well against Georgia, when, when the lights are on a-a-and to go beat Ohio State early in the year wasn't the best game, but at the end of the day, he's probably the most talented quarterback in the country.
He's gonna be the number one pick in months.
He was the Heisman Trophy favorite last year and then got off slow.
I'm closer to believer just because it's, I mean, it's in his genes, so to speak.
But- he needs to prove it.
And, and I'm a big I'll see it when I believe it guy.
Like, if you do it, then I'm on you.
So I see next week's game as literally the most important game in this kid's career, and he's played a lot of big games, because he has not necessarily delivered.
I-if you were to sit here, Kevin, and say, "Has Arch Manning lived up to expectations that he came in with?"
The answer would be no.
He didn't win the starting job over Quinn Ewers for reasons nobody can understand.
He had the chance last year and didn't deliver.
Now we're set up.
He has the chance.
We went over the schedule.
They're right there.
He has not delivered to the expectation level that we all put on him, but I do think the-- that it's there for him to take.
They go and run this table or they get into the playoff, he can be your Heisman Trophy winner.
He can do it next week.
I think he vaults to the top of the board if they beat Ohio State next week.
As far as this game versus Texas Tech- to me it's take, take the points or pass because I do think the look-ahead thing is a problem.
