But I mean, honestly, I'm curious to see Argentina in the later stages of the group- I agree because right now Argentina's kind of absorbing a lot of I don't know.
I think Argentina, it looks like different teams based on who they're playing.
Exactly.
Do I think they're an amazing squad?
Yes.
Do I think Messi has undoubtedly proven himself to be the GOAT?
Yes.
He's having a spectacular tournament even though he's coming from the MLS, which there was a lot of stir, there was a lot of talk of are the Is he gonna be up to par?
But he- He was he is.
He is up to par.
But as a squad, I think that Argentina is really kind of, when they're playing teams that they're supposed to beat, aren't doing as well.
When they're playing these top teams, they do show up and they are dominant, so I'm curious to see in the later stages of the World Cup when the pressure's really on, what's gonna happen.
It's not something you can make it very, very far in the tournament if you're constantly not- Yeah being the team that is proposing the style of play.
It works out with lesser competition- like Argentina had on the group stage.
But now that as they progress, they will have a more difficult time.
But also, let's be honest, the way that the brackets came out to be- Yeah Argentina is on the easiest possible- Bro road to the final that could have ever happened to any team in the history of the World Cup, especially because there's 48 teams.
Yeah.
I cannot believe- The other side- that the other side has- is stacked Germany, Portugal- Belgium Mexico, Belgium, you name it.
And Argentina, they play Cabo Verde, but- Cabo Verde right after Cabo Verde they might play Spain.
Yeah, and that would be, that would be a- That's gonna be- Circling back again, to your original question of this weekend, Colombia, Portugal.
Oof.
What a game.
This was I think everybody was anticipating, and it was really good.
