Bears Land Versatile SEC Pass Rusher in Latest NFL Mock Draft

Who should the Bears pick with the twenty-fifth overall pick in the twenty twenty-six NFL Draft?
ESPN's Field Yates has weighed in.
He released a mock draft and had the Bears selecting Missouri edge rusher Zion Young.
Multiple mock drafts have definitely, been favoring the defensive line when it comes to, the, the Bears pick, as Chicago ranked twenty-second in the NFL with thirty-five sacks this past season, even though Montez Sweat finished with ten sacks and had, somewhat of a breakout year.
Young was, spent the last two seasons at Missouri, and before that he was at Michigan State.
Throughout his college career, he has definitely been able to, not only affect the quarterback, but get behind the line of scrimmage and rack up plenty of tackles for loss as well.
So he could definitely be a versatile addition to this Bears' defensive line, as he would hopefully be paired with Sweat.
Picking Young could be a good alternative if the Bears are not able to trade for a veteran pass rusher, like Max Crosby or Myles Garrett in the off-season.
While the Bears have been linked to a, to a Crosby trade for quite some time now, there is a roadblock, as he is still recovering from his meniscus injury, and it looks like a trade will not be possible until just before or after the twenty twenty-six NFL Draft.
Then there, with Myles Garrett, if he does c-- there's no guarantee that he will become available, but, he is definitely losing patience with the Browns organization after they, after his defensive coordinator, Jim Schwartz, resigned following, him not getting the head coaching job there in Cleveland.
So we'll have to wait and see what, Bears General Manager Ryan Poles does with the, the twenty-fifth overall pick.
The, Chicago Bears took Colson Loveland tenth overall last season, and it panned out very well, as he led the team in receiving yards as a rookie.
So we'll have to wait and see what, Poles decides to do, but there is definitely still a glaring need along the defensive line for this Bears team.
