Bell: 'Just a second-place driver' after Chicagoland runner-up
Christopher Bell says his No. 20 Toyota had winning pace late at Chicagoland Speedway, but he came up short again after charging to a runner-up finish.

I know it's tough to take positives from this one, Christopher, but coming through the field like you guys did, what do you take from this and what more did you need in those final few laps?
I, I just need to, you know, replay that last run, the last two runs.
The, whatever it was, stage three, whenever it went green.
I, I was really struggling with the handling of my car early on in the race, and I still had a lot of pace.
So I keyed up on the radio and I said, "Hey, if we get this thing driving good, we're gonna have a shot at it."
And, yeah, they made a great adjustment and got the car driving great, the last run.
but, you know, I was a straightaway plus behind it seemed like.
So, yeah, I was soft on my green flag entry for sure, which gave up a little bit of time.
So just need to go back and study the, you know, that green flag cycle and how I lost so much time to the, you know, the, the first couple cars.
So, yeah, it was a great, great day.
First race with Sale in the Camry, and, we almost went to victory lane.
but yeah, Toyota's are fast.
It seems like a monkey can drive them, so it's just disappointing whenever you get beat by another monkey.
Unfortunately, you've seen this movie a couple of times this year.
Is it getting frustrating with these second place finishes, Christopher?
