Browns Open to Shedeur Sanders Trade After 3-1 Start, Per Jeremy Fowler
The Cleveland Browns are off to a surprising 3-1 start, and backup quarterback Shedeur Sanders could be on the move. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said Cleveland would probably welcome a deal at the right price for Sanders or fellow backup Dillon Gabriel. Sanders went 144th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft and Gabriel went 94th, and Sanders' lower cap hit could make him more appealing to other teams. Moving a backup would also open room for rookie Taylen Green on the depth chart. Any deal is unlikely before the Nov. 10 trade deadline, since Cleveland would likely want Gabriel back from injured reserve first.
