Browns Urged to Start Shedeur Sanders Over Deshaun Watson to 'Fix Offense'

If the Cleveland Browns want to have a better offense next season, they should start Shedeur Sanders over Deshaun Watson.

The Cleveland Browns will use training camp and preseason action to determine who will start week one of next season against the Jaguars.

Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson are in a tight QB one battle right now.

NFL analyst Mo Moen of Bleacher Report believes the Browns should start Sanders and see what he can do for a full season as a starter.

Because if Sanders plays well, the Browns won't have to take a quarterback in the twenty twenty-seven draft, and if Sanders struggles, Cleveland can take a quarterback in next year's draft.

Shedeur Sanders finished his rookie season with seven passing touchdowns and ten interceptions.

He was a head-she named a Pro Bowl replacement, mostly because of who his dad is.

Meanwhile, Watson didn't play last season because he was recovering from the torn Achilles that he suffered during the twenty twenty-four campaign.

Look, most Browns fans want Shedeur Sanders to start.

When Watson tore his Achilles in twenty twenty-four, the entire Cleveland Browns stadium was cheering when he was getting carted off the field because of his off-the-field stuff, so that should pretty much tell you how Browns fans feel about Watson.

A couple weeks ago, NFL insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported that Sanders has made up ground in the QB one battle with Watson.

So it's certainly gonna be fascinating to see who starts week one against the Jaguars.

I agree with Bleacher Report here.

I think Wa-- Sanders should be the starter just so the Browns can evaluate him for a full season and see if he has what it takes to be a franchise quarterback, because the odds of Watson turning back the clock, and turning into a good quarterback after an Achilles tear is pretty low.
